Visiting San Antonio from New York. We heard about Jason Dady from a friend. Had lunch yesterday and the food was a bit above marginal , the ambience was interesting but our waitress was precious AND professional. Can you imagine that? She's a treasure and I wish we could hire her for one of our businesses. Not sure if I can say her name online but was Tess. Thanks again for being so nice.

They changed their menu without updating the websites menu Soooooo disappointed. They took their most popular dishes off the menu. They should have read thru reviews before they did that and AT LEAST updated their online menu and warned folks that were looking forward to their signature dishes. The brisket lasagna was great and service was great but the disappointing menu broke my heart

First visit to Range. Was invited to a wedding rehearsal dinner and the food and drinks were amazing! I'm sure the regular dining experience is wonderful as well, based off the deliciousness of everything, as well as the amazing staff and their attentiveness to the rehearsal dinner guests. The interior is classy with dark wood and beautiful fixtures. Can't wait to come back and try Range out as a regular patron! Thanks for taking great care of our wedding couple and their families/friends.

Omg we loved our dinner here!!!! Everything was absolutely delicious. The hand pulled mozzarella I still dream out. I had the streak & always order rare - it came out perfectly cooked and melted in mouth. I'll definitely be back to all of Jason Dady's restaurants, they're such a treat!

We stopped by for restaurant week and were so happy we did! The food and service were great, also loved the cocktail from the restaurant week menu. Our favorite was the salad, such bright flavors and least favorite was the mushroom bisque, a bit cold and lumpy. We also did the wine pairing which included a Chardonnay with apps and Pinot Noir with main dish. The bolognese and the salmon were both very good and we loved the chocolate dessert. Overall a lovely lunch.

Great food and bar service for an office holiday party for 30 people in the event room upstairs. Food quality was excellent, noise level better than expected, and restaurant very clean and well run. The roasted chicken and meatloaf dishes on the fixed group menu were standouts from the typical catered group meals you get at weddings and large parties like this. Pleasant surprise! Downstairs bar has a good selection, including Weller 12 bourbon at a reasonable price. The mixed drinks were all well reviewed by other guests. The relatively affordable $8 valet is highly recommended (validated ticket) at this hotel-based eatery in downtown San Antonio for ease of entry/exit. Bathrooms are only on the main level, if considering their party room on the second floor, but there is an elevator for anyone needing it. Overall, Range crushed it on all angles for our group event. I'd definitely go back for a regular meal and definitely will recommend it to friends for group events of 20-35 people.

My friends and I have season tickets to the Majestic, and we always go out for dinner before a show. We looked into this place years ago and thought it was too pricey, but last night we went and it wasn't expensive at all. My dinner, with tip, was under $30. The atmosphere is nice, and the location is good. We sat outdoors because the weather was perfect, and while we were next to the River Walk, we couldn't really see it because we were at street level. We had a good view of Houston Street, and there were music performances as part of Holidays on Houston, and also a 5K race that went right by. If you go here on a Tuesday night, there's free parking one block away (St. Mary's and Travis garage--but make sure you are parking in the city-owned portion). Service was fine, and the food was fine.
